Eco Fair 2016 will host technical advice from environmental experts and case study presentations from local businesses across four themed zones. Our zones this year will be Energy & Carbon, People & Property, Policy & Regulation and Circular Economy. Over 600 people attended last year and feedback tells us that Eco Fair 2015 was “inspirational” and the seminars were “excellent”, “really useful” and “very professional”. Come along for the day or call in for an hour or two to talk to experts and suppliers and to network with local businesses. Please use the navigation tabs above to find out more about Eco Fair 2016.
This is an Eco Fair so why not take the opportunity to arrive by bike?
CityConnect, the project delivering a series of improvements to local cycling and walking infrastructure have offered to organise a led bike ride for delegates wishing to travel to Elland Road by bike. The ride will depart from Leeds railway station’s main entrance on New Station Street at 8.10. It’s approximately 2.5 flat miles along the canal towpath and quiet back roads, and should take no longer than 25 minutes. Ideally, you’d bring your own bike along but hire bikes are available at Leeds station for a small charge. If you plan to join this led bike ride, please contact CityConnect’s Gavin Wood at firstname.lastname@example.org for further details.
The venue is just a ten minutes commute from Leeds City Centre, it is easily accessible from the M62, M1 and M621 with free parking available on site. However, with the Elland Road park and ride now open with services every 10 minutes, it’s even easier to get to the venue from Leeds City Centre using public transport. Click here to download a leaflet about the Elland Road Park & Ride or simply hop on the Park & Ride bus from the locations shown on the map below.
